On October 12, 2024, Mr. Kathayut Chupool, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Company Limited, and his team participated in the opening ceremony of the annual Hongsa Boat Racing Festival 2024 at the boat racing venue, Sibounrueang village, Hongsa District, chaired by Mr. Phonsavan Saysomphan, Secretary of the City Party, Mayor of Hongsa District. 

Hongsa Power Company Limited participates in the boat racing festival in Hongsa District every year. In 2024, the company provided a budget of 71,500,000 kip for rowing shirts for 13 villages in Hongsa City and 50,000,000 kip for the event, totaling 121,500,000 kip, as well as providing 1 rescue boat and communication devices (Walkie-Talkie) for relevant officials to use for smooth coordination.
