Celebrates International Labor’ Day 2025

On May 28, 2025, Hongsa Power Company Limited, in collaboration with companies under the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project, hosted a celebration for International Workers’ Day 2025 under the theme “Skills Development and Labor Empowerment 2025” at the Phonchan Office Indoor Sports Arena. The event was held to commemorate the crucial role of labor as the driving force behind economic and social development for the past 139 years.

The celebration was honored by distinguished guests from both public and private sectors in Xayabouly Province and Hongsa District, as well as contractors involved in the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project. Presiding over the event was Mr. Kathayut Chupool, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Company Limited, who emphasized unity and pride in the contributions of laborers.

On this significant occasion, Mr. Kathayut Chupool delivered a speech highlighting the importance of promoting and developing employee skills to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to improving employees’ quality of life and continuously enhancing their skills and potential, aiming to build a resilient workforce ready to face future challenges.

The event featured various activities, including education on labor law and social security benefits, competitions in first aid, equipment welding, and a creative papaya salad (som tam) contest. These activities aimed to provide a platform for employees to showcase their talents creatively and to inspire the next generation in their career journeys.
