Hongsa Power Welcomes Delegation from the Department of Energy Business, Ministry of Energy and Mines of Lao PDR and Related Committees During Their Visit to the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project

On May 28, 2025, Mr. Jirasak Thipbumrung, Deputy Managing Director – Mining Operations, and Mr. Pichet Churith, Director of Corporate Support Division of Hongsa Power Company Limited, along with the company’s executives and staff, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Department of Energy Business under the Ministry of Energy and Mines of the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The delegation included members of the Master List Committee, the Expatriate Quota Management Committee, and officials from the Department of Energy and Mines of Xayabouly Province, led by Ms. Chanmala Phetlumpanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Energy Business.

The purpose of this visit was to monitor the operations of the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project, with a particular focus on the importation and use of equipment during the construction phase, as well as the management of both Lao and foreign labor in compliance with the concession agreement and relevant laws and regulations.
