Community Leaders from Ngeun District Visit Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project to Strengthen Understanding and Cooperation

On May 29, 2025, Hongsa Power Company Limited, through its Community Relations Department under the Social Development Division, Corporate Affairs Group, organized a visit to the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project for 50 community leaders from the Ngeun District area. The visiting group included representatives from Ban Kang, Ban Bimee, Ban Phiengnam, Ban Khon, and Ban Kaew Donkhoun.

The company warmly welcomed the delegation, led by Mr. Kaewduangsone Sihalat, Social Development Manager, and Mr. Khompet Kaewphila, Community Relations Manager, who represented Hongsa Power. The visitors were given an overview of the project’s operations, including power plant generation, coal mining management, social development efforts, and environmentally friendly practices aligned with international standards—namely ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health, safety, and working environment.

This visit was part of the company’s initiative to promote accurate understanding and foster cooperation with local communities. It aimed to equip community leaders with a comprehensive view of the project, enabling them to confidently communicate relevant information within their respective communities.
