“Hongsa Power Company Welcomes Students from the School of Politics, Xayabouly Province, on an Educational Visit to the Hongsa Thermal Power Project”
On June 19, 2025, Mrs. Oratai Kaemabulkul, Division Manager - Stakeholder Relations (HS), Corporate Affairs Division, Hongsa Power Company Limited, along with her team, welcomed Mr. Somnuek Phonvichit, Deputy Head of the School of Politics and Administration of Xayabouly Province, and Mr. Bounthan Phouangkaew, Deputy Head of Hongsa District Administration, together with 60 students from the School of Politics and Administration, Xayabouly Province.
The group visited the Hongsa Thermal Power Project to study the operational approach of a private sector energy project that plays a vital role in the economic, social, and community development of the region.
The purpose of the visit was to enhance knowledge and understanding of coal-fired power generation processes, environmental management, as well as occupational health and safety practices. The project is operated under international standards, including ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety, and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management. The company emphasizes community engagement and the sustainable development of local youth.
