Hongsa Power Organizes Scholarship Presentation Ceremony for Local Scholarship Student Program (LSSP) 2024 & 2025

 

Hongsa Power Company Limited continues its commitment to supporting educational opportunities for youth around the Hongsa Thermal Power Project, including Hongsa District, Ngern District, and Xienghone District.

 

On November 4, 2025, the Human Resources Division organized the Scholarship Presentation Ceremony for the Local Scholarship Student Program (LSSP) 2024 & 2025 at Hongkham Saiyakarn Building. Mr. Kathayuth Chupoon, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Company Limited, presided over the ceremony. The event was also honored by the presence of Ms. Saengla Mahavongsanan, Vice President of the Hongsa District Administration and Social–Culture Guidance Committee, together with representatives from education authorities, scholarship students, parents, and Hongsa Power employees, who attended to witness the occasion.

 

For the years 2024 and 2025, a total of 10 scholarships have been granted — 5 scholarships each year — with a value of 55,400,000 LAK per scholarship, amounting to a total of 554,000,000 LAK. The scholarships cover a variety of study fields: Electrical Engineering (1), Computer Engineering (2), Mechanical Engineering (1), Environmental Engineering (1), Logistics Engineering (1), Economics (1), International Relations (1), Accounting (1), and Business Administration (1).

 

Hongsa Power places high importance on continuous youth development. Since 2011, the company has supported more than 500 secondary education scholarships and more than 80 bachelor’s degree scholarships, while also offering scholarship students the opportunity to join internships at the company to gain real working experience.
