“Hongsa Power Ignites Community Spirit and Preserves the Boat Racing Festival of Ngern District 2025”

Hongsa Power Company Limited proudly took part in preserving the Muang Ngern Longboat Racing Festival, one of the district’s oldest cultural traditions that symbolizes unity, faith, and the strong bond within the community.

For the 2025 festival, the company provided a total sponsorship of 80,000,000 LAK, comprising 25,000,000 LAK to support the event organization and 55,000,000 LAK for rowing jerseys for 10 villages, helping uplift community morale and readiness ahead of the competition.

The grand opening ceremony was held on 14 November 2025, presided over by Mr. Thongphan Souksavath, Secretary of Muang Ngern Party Committee. The event welcomed distinguished guests from Xayaboury Province, government agencies, private-sector representatives, and residents from nearby communities who gathered in large numbers.

Representing the company, Mr. Kathayuth Chupoon, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Company Limited, joined by the management team and staff, attended the ceremony — adding vibrancy and heartfelt support to the festive atmosphere along the riverbank.

Hongsa Power’s contribution this year not only helps preserve Muang Ngern’s treasured cultural heritage but also strengthens the community’s shared spirit of faith and unity, ensuring it continues to grow alongside sustainable development.
