Hongsa Power Participates in the Official Opening Ceremony of the Fuel Service Station with NTP Trading Petroleum, Strengthening Energy Security under the ESG Framework
On 22 December 2025, NTP Trading Petroleum Company Limited held the official opening ceremony of its fuel service station at the fuel service station site in front of Ban Na Nong Kham residential area, within the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project. The ceremony was honored by the presence of H.E. Ms. Pany Yathotou, Vice President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, who presided over the event.
The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Kathayuth Chupoon, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Company Limited, together with Mr. Chandasak Yotmankhong, Director of NTP Trading Petroleum Company Limited, senior executives, and distinguished guests from various government agencies.
The event was witnessed by senior representatives from central government agencies, as well as provincial and district-level authorities of the Lao PDR, reflecting the significance of the project and its important role in supporting economic and social development at both local and national levels.
The official opening of the fuel service station marks a key milestone in the collaboration between Hongsa Power Company Limited and NTP Trading Petroleum Company Limited, following the signing of the fuel station construction and supply agreement in June 2025. The project aims to enhance the readiness, continuity, and stability of energy infrastructure to effectively support the operations of the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project.
The fuel service station has been designed and constructed in accordance with high standards of safety, environmental management, and good corporate governance. It plays a vital role in supporting energy and logistics management within the project, contributing to overall energy system stability and Operational Excellence.
