Hongsa Power Celebrates International Labor Day 2026, Honoring the “Value of People” as the Driving Force Behind a Decade of Success
On 15 May 2026, Hongsa Power Company Limited (HPC), together with companies operating within the Hongsa Thermal Power Project, organized the “2026 Hongsa International Labor Day” under the “2026 Labor Promotion and Skills Development Program.” The event was held to recognize and celebrate the “Value of People”—the heart of the organization and the key driving force behind the Project’s achievements throughout the past decade. The event took place at the Hongsa Thermal Power Project.
The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests from Xayaboury Province, led by Mr. Por. Sisonephan Bounsy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and representatives from Hongsa District Administration, led by Mr. Lae Onesomboun, President of the Hongsa District Administrative Committee, together with Mrs. Viengkham Chanthavong, President of the Xayaboury Provincial Labor Federation. Also attending were executives, employees, business partners, and contractors from across the Project. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Kathayuth Chupoon, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Company Limited, amidst an atmosphere filled with pride, unity, and the spirit of collaboration among the Hongsa Power family.
The event featured a variety of engaging activities that fostered happiness, friendship, and teamwork, including the panel discussion “Empowering Skills, Shaping the Future,” a First Aid Competition, health promotion activities, and exhibitions showcasing the capabilities, talents, and collaborative strength of the organization’s workforce.
On this occasion, Mr. Kathayuth Chupoon stated, “The success of an organization is not built by machinery or technology alone.
