“CARE for NAN” encouragement to Flood-Affected

Hongsa Power Unites Caring Hearts through “CARE for NAN,” Extending Support and Encouragement to Flood-Affected Communities in Pua District, Nan Province

 

Following the flooding that affected communities in Pua District, Nan Province, Thailand, during 18–19 August 2026, Hongsa Power Company Limited has continued to extend support and encouragement to those affected through financial assistance, essential supplies, and the collective efforts of employees and volunteers.

 

Previously, the Company provided THB 1,000,000 in financial support to help alleviate the hardship faced by flood-affected communities. Continuing this support, HPC Volunteer Club organized the CARE for NAN initiative from 29–30 August 2026, inviting employees to take part in providing assistance through essential supplies, volunteer efforts, and encouragement, while contributing to the recovery of affected communities.

 

As part of the initiative, Mr. Kathayuth Chupoon, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Company Limited, together with employees and volunteers, visited Ban Kaem Rat Phatthana, Village No. 4, Woranakhon Subdistrict, Pua District, Nan Province, to provide assistance to the local community. The team distributed 250 relief packages valued at THB 200,000, along with a THB 60,000 contribution to the Pua District Fund for Disaster Victim Assistance, which was received by Mr. Pipat Phetpipat, District Chief Officer of Pua.

 

In addition, Hongsa Power joined Colonel Thanate Phattharawan, Commander of the 31st Mobile Development Unit, personnel from the 31st Mobile Development Unit, and volunteers from various organizations in organizing a Big Cleaning Day to clean and rehabilitate areas affected by the flooding.

 

The CARE for NAN initiative reflects the collective power of collaboration among various sectors, bringing together financial support, essential supplies, and hands-on volunteer efforts to provide continued care and encouragement to affected communities. This initiative embodies Hongsa Power’s Powering with CARE commitment to conducting its business alongside a steadfast commitment to caring for people, communities, and society.
