Hongsa Power Co., Ltd has granted the International Environmental Management Standard (ISO 14001: 2015) 2nd March 2019, Hongsa Power Co., Ltd (“HPC”) hosts a press conference for ISO14001:2015 certification ceremony at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Lanexang Room 3, in Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR. In this regard, Mr.Kathayuth Chupoon, Managing Director of HPC has indicated that receiving the certificate from Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS. And in this occasion, Mr.Thongpath Inthavong, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM) will be presided over the ceremony. ISO14001:2015 is the international standard for environmental management system to ensure that HPC is managing to protect the environment and reduce the impacts effectively. HPC granted the ISO 14001: 2015 certification which demonstrates that HPC operates its business in the responsible manner together with the protection of environment and community’s well-being as the vision of HPC to be leading mine mouth power plant in ASEAN with operation excellence bringing trust and happiness to all. More importantly, HPC is committed to managing the environmental friendly harmonize with sustainable growth. With the strong commitment and great support from the Government of Laos as well as a contribution from our employees and contractors, there are the key factors to help HPC to achieve the ISO 14001: 2015 which also in the compliance with the Concession Agreement (CA).
